1 O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens. 2 Out of the mouth of babies and infants, you have established strength because of your foes, to still the enemy and the avenger.

For I want you to know how great a struggle I have for you and for those at Laodicea and for all who have not seen me face to face, 2 that their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, to reach all the riches of full assurance of understanding and the knowledge of God’s mystery, which is Christ, 3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

We must admire Jesus over everything so that we might be prepared for His coming.

We practice making peace to prepare for the coming of Jesus

To wisely prepare for the coming of Jesus, our bridegroom, we must be prepared for a long wait and be prepared in the here and now.

We experience increase (God’s blessing) when we cover each other’s shame, remember we’re in this together, and do everything in the name of the LORD

7:6 Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters came upon the earth. 7 And Noah and his sons
and his wife and his sons’ wives with him went into the ark to escape the waters of the flood.

If we want to experience renewal and restoration, then we must participate
in building God’s church and entering in worship together.

For us to truly deal with resentment: we need to embrace God’s will, take responsibility, and ask for mercy

When we betray God: we will hide with shame, renounce the beloved community, and live with conflict and pain.
